Mr. Kelly concentrates on providing financial and tax advice to Privately held Companies and Individuals. Richard has significant experience as a Chief Financial Officer of Publicly Traded and Privately Held companies as well as practicing as a CPA for twenty years.
Prior to establishing Kelly, Kelly & Company, LLC Richard was the Chief Financial Officer of eGulf Technologies, a Massachusetts based technology service provider with offices in the United Kingdom, France, the Middle East and India. He was responsible for all financial and tax matters, as well as the Company’s merger & acquisition activities, venture capital and fund raising strategies. Prior to eGulf, Richard was the Chief Financial Officer of West Coast Entertainment Corporation, where he was responsible for its reporting and public filings with the Securities and Exchange Commission, NASDAQ compliance and reporting; Merger and Acquisition activities, its Initial Public Offering and fund raising efforts. Prior to joining West Coast Entertainment , Richard practiced as a partner in a Boston based regional CPA firm, advising Closely Held companies and Individuals on tax reduction strategies, tax planning opportunities, and representation before Federal and State taxing authorities. He also has significant experience in providing Accounting, Review and Auditing services.
Mr. Kelly is licensed to practice as a CPA in Virginia and Massachusetts and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Richard received a B.S. in Business Administration from Suffolk University, and a Masters Degree in Taxation from Bentley College.
